Once again fulfilling the academic commitment, we at the AVECH have the honor of presenting to you the work: Ensayos sobre el pensamiento de Xi Jinping [Essays on the Thought of Xi Jinping] 习近平思想研究论文集, It has been my privilege to coordinate this volume with a deep sense of belonging and with full awareness of what a collective book represents: a rigorous, plural, critical and reflective approach from Venezuela regarding the doctrinal corpus that underpins contemporary Chinese governance, which is a key effort at this moment to fulfil a duty we owed to the Spanish-speaking reader.

This book does not aim to be a translation, much less a textual reproduction of President Xi Jinping's official speeches. On the contrary, it seeks a critical and reflective analysis, supported by primary and secondary sources to unravel the guiding axes of his political, economic, and social thought, among other matters. Through this line of thought, the Chinese leader has articulated a vision of development, peace and cooperation with undeniable global repercussions. Each chapter of the book has been conceived and written by established specialists and emerging young researchers, addressing a specific dimension with a responsible approach free from bias.
