Regarding this controversy that began in the 1960s, Venezuela played a prominent role that is very little known among the new generations of university students.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, we want to present you a new installment of our <strong>Understanding China podcast<\/strong>aimed at reflecting on <strong>Venezuela's position regarding the admission of the People's Republic of China to the UN<\/strong>. It will be hosted by <strong>Norbert Molina Medina<\/strong>, researcher at the <strong>Center for the Study of Africa and Asia (CEAA)<\/strong> of the <strong>University of Los Andes (ULA)<\/strong> and Secretary General of the <strong>Venezuelan Association for Chinese Studies (AVECH) \u59d4\u5185\u745e\u62c9\u4e2d\u56fd\u7814\u7a76\u4f1a.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over the course of more than a decade, our guest today has developed a significant line of research aimed at examining the scope and limitations of Venezuela\u2019s ties with Asian nations, including China.
