Norbert Molina-Medina<\/strong><\/p>\n Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n Following up on the knowledge production and within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the Sino-Venezuelan joint communiqu\u00e9 of June 28, 1974, the CEAA and AVECH, in alliance with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Venezuela, have the honor of presenting the book: Venezuela y China (1974-2024): 50 a\u00f1os de cooperaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica, econ\u00f3mica, social y cultural [Venezuela and China (1974\u20132024):\n50 Years of Political, Economic, Social, and Cultural Cooperation] <\/em>\u59d4\u5185\u745e\u62c9\u548c\u4e2d\u56fd (1974-2024\u5e74): 50\u5e74\u653f\u6cbb\u3001\u7ecf\u6d4e\u3001\u793e\u4f1a\u4e0e\u6587\u5316\u5408\u4f5c,<\/strong> which I have had the honor of coordinating and co-authoring alongside three other outstanding Venezuelan scholars\u2014graduates of ULA and the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) in the disciplines of History and Modern Languages (International Organizations track). This new contribution is structured into four main chapters: I. Continuity in Political Dialogue; II. On Economic-Commercial Cooperation; III. Cultural Ties and Exchanges; <\/em>and IV. The Chinese in Venezuela; <\/em>with which we aim to provide an assessment of these first fifty years across each highlighted aspect and the clearly defined evolutionary periods of relations: 1974\u20131999 and 1999\u20132024. \nThrough a rigorous examination of official and specialized sources on each topic, the authors have reconstructed a vision of the process that does not seek to impose absolute truths, but rather to create a space for healthy and responsible discussion, adding another contribution to the body of previously published works. Likewise, this work brings together a set of appendices containing true and exact copies of the first agreements signed by Venezuela and China, a directory of the diplomats accredited to the embassies in Beijing and Caracas, and two descriptive tables: the instruments ratified between 1974 and 1999s, and two descriptive tables showing the instruments ratified between 1974 and 1999, and the number of agreements achieved per session of the High-Level Joint Commission (CMAN) between 2001 and 2023, respectively. Finally, a photographic dossier is offered to our respected readers, preserving the memory of significant meetings between high-ranking leaders of both countries and key moments in Sino-Venezuelan relations that we commemorate today.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/avech.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/b.-Publicacion.png\")
